The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and, in accordance with the provisions of the above Convention, has the honor to notify him that the Government of the Republic of Ghana deposited, on March 12, 1976, its instrument of accession to the Convention Establishing the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
The Republic of Ghana, which is a member of the United Nations, has fulfilled the condition set forth in Article 5(2)(i) of the said Convention.
Pursuant to Article 11(4)(b) of the said Convention, the Republic of Ghana has expressed the wish to belong to Class C.
Pursuant to Article 15(2), the Convention Establishing the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) will enter into force, in respect to the Republic of Ghana, three months after the date of deposit of the instrument of accession, that is, on June 12, 1976.
