On January 1, 1991, the Netherlands denounced the Convention relating to a Uniform Law on the International Sale of Goods and the Convention relating to a Uniform Law on the Formation of Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, both done at The Hague on July 1, 1964. This denunciation took effect 12 months later, and the present Convention therefore entered into force for the Netherlands on January 1, 1992, in accordance with paragraphs 2 and 6 of article 99.
