The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and has the honor to notify him of the receipt, on May 22, 1985, of the notification of the European Patent Organisation (EPO) stating a change as concerns the fees to be charged by the Centraalbureau voor Schimmelcultures (CBS) as an international depositary authority under the Budapest Treaty on the International Recognition of the Deposit of Microorganisms for the Purposes of Patent Procedure, done at Budapest on April 28, 1977. The text of that notification is attached.
The fees set forth in the said notification will apply as from the thirtieth day following the date (August 31, 1985) of the publication of the said fees in the July/August issue of Industrial Property/La Propriété industrielle, that is, as from September 30, 1985 (see Rule 12.2(c) of the Regulations under the Budapest Treaty), and will replace the fees for the furnishing of a sample under Rule 11.2 or Rule 11.3 of the said Regulations, as published in the September 1981 issue of Industrial Property/La Propriété industrielle.

NOTIFICATION
With reference to Rule 12.2 of the Regulations under the Budapest Treaty, I have the honor to notify you that the schedule of fees of the Centraalbureau voor Schimmelcultures (CBS) has been amended as follows as regards fees for furnishing of samples:
