The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and, in accordance with the provisions of the Paris Act (1971) of the above Convention, has the honor to notify him that the Government of the Principality of Monaco deposited on August 5, 1974, its instrument of ratification of the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works of September 9, 1886, as revised at Paris on July 24, 1971.
The Principality of Monaco indicated, concurrently with depositing its instrument of ratification, that, for the purposes of Article 25(4) of the Convention, it wished to belong to Class VII.
Pursuant to the provisions of Article 28(2)(c) and (3), the Paris Act (1971) of the Convention will enter into force, with respect to the Principality of Monaco, three months after the date of this notification, that is, on November 23, 1974.
