Sections 45 to 54 of the said amending Act S.C. 2017, c. 6 introduced amendments (in force on June 30, 2021) to a number of sections of this consolidated Patent Act (example including sections 2, 7(1), 12(1)(a), 12(1)(g) (French version only), 2(1)(j.8), 26, 29, 47. 47(2), 53(3), 55.2(4), etc.).
