The instrument of ratification contained a declaration in accordance with Article 14(5) of the Protocol, that the protection resulting from any international registration effected under this Protocol before the date of entry into force of this Protocol with respect to it cannot be extended to it. This declaration was withdrawn on February 1, 2004. (see Madrid (Marks) Notification No. 154)
